Some of you have been wondering whether Yedo Deluxe Master Set will become available in other languages. We are happy to announce that agreements have been reached to make Yedo Deluxe Master Set available in the following languages:
At this point, there are no plans in the works for other language editions. If this changes, we will inform you immediately.
We want to make it abundantly clear — All copies acquired via this Kickstarter campaign will be in English ONLY.
The Spanish and German editions will contain the basic game, including all game content related stretch goals, but none of the add-ons. As a comparison, if you were to get a Spanish version of the Yedo Deluxe Master Set, its contents will be the same as that of the Geisha pledge level, except in Spanish instead of English.
We have recommended that the retail price be set to $100. Any add-ons which are available during this campaign, such as the metal coins or Advisor Deluxe add-on, will also be made available to our localization partners, but you should expect the cost for these to be in addition to the cost of the game.
While it is our hope that each language version will be available around the same time as the English version, we can only make promises with regards to the availability in English. It will be up to each publisher to ensure timely delivery of translated content and to distribute the games to their customers.
We do not have any information about how, or if, you will be able to pre-order Yedo Deluxe Master Set in Spanish, though their plans are to distribute the game via regular distribution channels.
However, we can announce that Giant Roc will launch a Spieleschmiede campaign next week for the German edition.
No other language editions are in the works at this point. If that changes, we will let you know in an update similar to this one.

With the third day of our project well on its way to smash another Stretch Goal, I would like to thank you all for being with us, and making Yedo Deluxe Master Set pass $200 000 before the first 48 hours are up! You're amazing!
If you pledged at the Shogun pledge level within the first 36 hours of the project, you will be receiving the Watch Patrol metal coin and a set of 16 wooden Annexes for free with your pledge. This content is identical to the Advisor Set Add-On which you may also purchase separately:
Wait, how do I know if I pledged within the first 36 hours? Do I qualify?
If your backer number is #2539 or lower and you pledged at the Shogun level ($98), the extra reward is yours!
And how do I check my backer number?
The easiest way is to look it up in the email you received from Kickstarter. However, if you are unable to check (perhaps you deleted it already - please, don't delete these emails in the future), you can also see your backer number here on Kickstarter.
To do this, click on your profile icon in the top-right corner of the screen, and choose the "View All" option under your backed projects. Then, find Yedo Deluxe Master Set and click on the blue button to expand the backing information:
Scroll down the expanded view to see your backer number (and payment method which we have erased from this image):
As you can see, the backer number of this pledge is #2598, which means that (even if the pledge was a Shogun level one), the first 36-hours reward would not apply.
Also, please note that pledges under $10 (the Ronin level pledge) do not guarantee any kind of a reward. Only with a pledge of $10 or higher will you secure access to the pledge manager after the campaign is over.

Okay, enough of that, now tell me more about the Solo Mode!
I'll be happy to! As you know, the person responsible for the solo mode is Dávid
Turczi, a man with a certain reputation as an awesome game designer and maker of some of the best solo modes out there! Here is a bunch of things you may want to know:
1. Yedo Deluxe Master Set will feature a complete automa-style solo experience, and not a simple beat-your-score mechanism.
2. The solo mode is based on a special deck of cards drawn each turn. These cards will challenge you much in the same way other players do during a regular game, by taking action locations on the board.
3. There will be multiple difficulty settings, so if you master one of them, you will be able to ramp up the challenge level. Like all in Yedo Deluxe Master Set, you will be able to customize the solo mode experience as well.
Wait, it will feature certain mechanisms? Isn't it ready?
It's in development, but it is not yet finished. This is why we don't have any final images to show you. We elected to intensify the work on the solo mode after the project concludes. This way we can be sure that it incorporates as much of the new content unlocked on Kickstarter as possible. While the work has already started and we have a solid, working base, we want to make sure that the solo mode is as Deluxe as the rest of the Master Set!

With Stretch Goals unlocking left and right, we decided that we want to… unlock even more! In fact, we will unlock a card daily regardless of everything else.
Veterans of Classic Yedo probably remember the difficult and dreaded Kill the Shogun Mission. A daunting endeavour that could tip the scales of the game and end it prematurely. Yedo Deluxe Master Set will offer you not one but ten of these cards – and here is the first one!
Do not worry, you will still use but one in your game, but with Shogun’s Daily Demises, you will receive a whole fan of options to choose – or blindly draw – from! Not only that, each of the new Kill the Shogun Missions will also come with a haiku: a piece of highly disciplined poetic art, thematically appropriate for the card presented!
