Ladies and Gentlemen!

We come to you with another short update. This time, however, not only to tell you that everything is proceeding according to our new plan (which is a slightly altered version of the original one - due to the situation in the world) but to also give you a crucial piece of information:

On July 20th we will lock the addresses in the pledge manager.

Up until that date, you can still log in and modify your address. However, make sure that your address is up to date and complete by that time. Also, please look at the two frequently asked questions below.

What if I want to change the country?

This can only be done by us. Please change the rest of the address and send us a private message, giving us details of the change. We will not change the rest of the address. Also, make sure to not request any sensitive data change in public places (like the comments section).

What do I do if my address is too long?

Unfortunately, you will have to find a way to make it fit. The length of each address box is the same as the maximum length used by shipping companies, so even if we managed to make your address longer, it would still be cut short by the shipper while printing labels. We're sorry but this is something that cannot influence.

All is well in Yedo - or the one where we tell you that everything is on schedule

Ladies and Gentlemen,

This is going to be one of those rather boring updates, as pretty much all we have to inform you about is that… everything is proceeding as planned ;-)

After receiving samples of wooden components and mats (which we presented to you in the previous update), we provided the factory with feedback, and the pre-production is already happening. We are still working on the rules (as we want to take all the time to make sure you like them), and we should also be able to provide you with some photos of the sample game box within the next two to three weeks.

Apart from the above, we are also working on a two level insert, with the bottom level separating each set of cards (that includes different sets of Missions, Action Cards and Events) into its own well. Naturally, since we not only know that many of you sleeve your cards, but also actually offered you our own Paladin sleeves as an add-on, the insert is being built to hold all cards in premium sleeves. When we have physical prototypes of inserts, we will also share them in an update.

We sincerely hope you are all well, staying healthy and safe in this difficult time. Production update

Ladies & Gentlemen,

We are constantly in touch with the factory and while we've had a few bumps (mostly due to coronavirus affecting the activity of suppliers) it looks like we're on track. The most tedious part of making Yedo is the production of wooden pieces and this is ongoing, albeit at a slower pace than we had hoped. At this time, we are not sure if the August deadline for delivery is realistic, but we hope that it is. We're pushing the manufacturing company to move along at the fastest possible pace, and they're doing the same to their suppliers. The current pandemic has affected supply chains to a degree that makes it impossible to accurately predict if Yedo will be affected, so all we can do on our side is keep an eye out and push everyone in the right direction. In 2-3 weeks time you'll get from us another update with fresh news and hopefully a confirmation that our delivery deadline is staying put.

Yedo rules

Ladies & Gentlemen,

We have the final draft of Yedo rules, including all modules and the coop and solo mode. This has been a tedious work, involving the designers - Thomas and Wolf - together with our team and with David Turczi who contributed a lot to the solo and coop mode as well as to the general development of the deluxe master set.

If you can and want to provide us feedback, here is how we ask you to do this:

• use PDF comments to mark corrections
• send the corrections back via email to us: [email protected]
• we will start implementing the corrections next Thursday, so please send anything by Wednesday 1-Apr, 10:00 CET (that is 6 hours ahead of US East coast time).

We are only able to receive corrections this way. 

For now, the rules have been checked by the designers, by David and by two separate people in our team, each several times. But with rules we know that mistakes are inherent and we expect quite a few spelling errors still lurking in the shadows. Also, you will see some empty spaces - these have been reserved for corrections which would potentially prolong the text, and they will otherwise be filled with illustrations.
